View Full Version : Custom exhaust chicago_guy 03-09-2005, 10:25 PM Im planning on doing a custom exhaust, from the headers back with no cats. does anyone know the flange size for the headers so i can match the diameter of the pipe. i was thinking of doing a 2.5 going more than that will be a waste. there is a local shop next to my office that will do all the piping for $176. thats with cutting/welding and i will provide a muffler. what do you guys think? :eyebrow: aarontrini85 03-10-2005, 12:59 AM mandral bent? if not dont get it chicago_guy 03-10-2005, 04:07 AM they said something about a soft bend. and its aluminum hahaitzskippy 03-10-2005, 04:14 AM soft bend = no mandrel all the way, thats a true exhaust system aarontrini85 03-10-2005, 04:43 AM you will drop hp if it isnt mandrel it makes ripples similer to the ripples on the stock intake and makes more back pressure and you dont want to mutch of that chicago_guy 03-10-2005, 05:15 AM what are most cat back pipes made out of? stainless steel? |
