question about e-brake
ok so my buddy and i got into this argument yesterday and ended up betting $50 on it. so hear me out:
my buddy suggested that the e brake uses the same rear disks and rear brake pads as used in regular braking, whereas i argued that there is a separate unit for just the rear e brakes(even though it may use the same rear disk). after doing some brief research, i found out cars with rear disks can go either way. but what about the tC? we happened to have been in my car during the argument so i can win this if what i said applies to my car, as opposed to having an even draw.
Thanks in advance, guys!

^ haha i knew it!! my friend just sounded way too confident, that we lowered our original bet of $100 down to $50. but either way, thanks for the info man. im $50 richer
edit: now that i know, i think i'll go ahead and tighten my loose parking brakes, which have been loose for over 3 years now. Thanks again!
