Default New Speedometer/Cluster and HVAC air control unit Blue Color

As the title says I replaced the LEDs on the speedometer aka cluster and the HVAC air control unit to blue, the radio is still orange stock since I am planning on just getting a new head touchscreen head unit overall.

Wow I was JUST looking at these.

Looks great

Were they difficult to install? I read it requires soldering.

yes its the exact same LED's the hardest thing is replacing lights under the LCD screen you kinda need a special tool to take it off or you could kinda bend it, but it has a high chance of braking luckily mine didnt. but ya you just solder on the sides of the leds take old ones out put new ones in. Not hard just takes time.

They are all Surface Mount LEDs. You would have to solder them off and then solder the new ones on. I did this mod when I got my car, i did something similar to the OP, blue speedometer, with white signals and red notifications, whereas my hvac is all blue.

I took out my cluster and changed the orange LEDs to blue and it looks nice. The mileage display is blue also so I'm going to take it out and put white on that display. After I put the cluster back together, the speedometer gauge doesn't align back to 0. All the other gauges do a reset and seem to be accurate. How do I get the speedometer to reset properly?

Also, I read that for the HAVC LEDs, some resistors also need to be changed. Is this true? What value resistors do I need?

Thank you for any help!
