Sorry if this has been asked before but I just realized I'm not sure if I have Side Curtain Airbags after owning this car for three years. It's suppose to say SRS on one of the front and rear panels if I'm correct?

 

I think its the 08+...?

 

I know 8+ came standard but before than it was optional I believe.

 

o... didnt know that. I guess the easiest way to find out without searching is to take off the c pillar... u'd see it then

 

I think it would be required to have literature on components the have airbags. It should say "SRS Airbag" on the A-pillar. Could also try giving the VIN at the dealer and they could let you know if your car has it if you don't have the window sticker still.

 

it will say SRS Airbag near the top of the a-pillars and c-pillars

 

SRS will be embossed on the fabric if you have the feature

 

you'll have a tag on your seats too....

 

Some 07s come with them and some come without. If you have SRS AIRBAG written on the pillars or seats them you have them.

 

Side airbags came optional on the 05-06 models as well. Just for reference lol

 

Another way to tell is that the C-Pillar is cover in fabric for tC equipped with side airbag instead of just the plastic pillar.

lol, yeah, trust me, you know if you're Scion has SRS side airbags, it says it all over them!

 

It's just I'm about to mount a Integra C-pillar bar and wanted to make sure I didn't have any.

 

Does anyone know how to take the pillars off because I'm having trouble unhooking one of the mounts that's in the middle. I'm afraid if I pull on it hard enough the mount will snap off or something. Stupid cheap plastic!
