Muffin 02-23-2011, 02:04 AM Doesn't short shifter mean that i just makes the throws shorter not necessarily the height? If not what do you call a shifter that ONLY shortens the throws?
Alvie 02-23-2011, 02:27 AM Save up! U don't wanna end up like this guy

Short throw means it shortens the "throw" movement over the stock one. Most ones on the market are also shortened to sit lower (height reduction), if you want stock height, Dr. Isotope is the way to go.
I would AVOID something like this, no reason not to spend 50 more bucks and get a Dr. Isotope shifter that is proven to be great.

It says like 120 i think. I KNOW You get 40back when you send your old one back to him.
yungjopp 02-23-2011, 03:42 PM doc i is out of stock as of 1/19/11... hopefully he'll have them back soon. 80 isnt bad at all.
headlessmunky 02-23-2011, 06:33 PM If you can go without your car for a few days, like pull it out and ship it back to him, have him do it and ship back lol.
TWM_Performance 02-23-2011, 08:09 PM My only advice here will be to not waste money on cheap Ebay parts like this, especially when the vendor can't even tell you the exact specs of the product he's selling! 1" or 1.25", there is a difference.
If the overseas company this shifter comes from can't even make all the shifters they produce the same overall height, imagine how they do quality check on real important stuff like the diameters of the pivot balls and thread size? The shifter is one of these things in the car you use literally hundreds of time every day, you should not cheap out on such a part!

Especially when short shifters are only about 100-150 bucks!
