Default ebay short shifter

i found this really good deal on a short shifter. its only $25. I asked the seller what the height difference is between stock and he told me 1" - 1.25". should i try it or spend like 6 times the money and get twm?

Doesn't short shifter mean that i just makes the throws shorter not necessarily the height? If not what do you call a shifter that ONLY shortens the throws?

Short throw means it shortens the "throw" movement over the stock one. Most ones on the market are also shortened to sit lower (height reduction), if you want stock height, Dr. Isotope is the way to go.

I would AVOID something like this, no reason not to spend 50 more bucks and get a Dr. Isotope shifter that is proven to be great.

If you can go without your car for a few days, like pull it out and ship it back to him, have him do it and ship back lol.

My only advice here will be to not waste money on cheap Ebay parts like this, especially when the vendor can't even tell you the exact specs of the product he's selling! 1" or 1.25", there is a difference.

If the overseas company this shifter comes from can't even make all the shifters they produce the same overall height, imagine how they do quality check on real important stuff like the diameters of the pivot ***** and thread size? The shifter is one of these things in the car you use literally hundreds of time every day, you should not cheap out on such a part!

Especially when short shifters are only about 100-150 bucks!
