Hi, i have my panasonic battery since May of 2005 in my tc. I have 2 amps in the trunk to power my sub and front components.
That battery have never fail me, but should I pushing my luck? Right now I can get a autocraft gold battery for under $70. it got very good review in AdvanceAutoParts.com
Should i wait until the battery die?

I'd get the battery. Good batteries usually last about 5 years. Obviously, some will last longer and others shorter. You're definitely due for one though.

I have the original battery in my '05 as well. I got six years out of it so I might as well replace it with a genuine Toyota Truestart battery for the quality and duration.

Save yourself some grief and spring for a new one. OEM batteries tend to strand you. It happened to me in my Yaris. The battery was 37 months old.....they really know how to design them.
