Default 9006 Amber bulbs?

So i realized the oem so called "fog lights" give poor light output. So has ever bought amber 9006 bulbs? I found some Led lights http://tinyurl.com/4ykha3b. Do you think these will do instead of using tint or smoking the lights amber?

LED lights like that are for appearance only and will not provide significant illumination.

I've been trying to find amber halogens, but I haven't found anything yet. You can do yellow all day long though.

I finally said screw it and put HIDs in mine.

Yellow HID is what i did for the fogs, simple plug and play installation from Scionlife sponsor HIDextra.com. They provide everything with the HID light kit for the easy conversion about $60. See the reviews on SL
Good Luck

I'll agree with what they already said, the Yellow Halogens you find on eBay/etc are not worth it at all. I put in a set and although they look cool from the outside, in the driver seat I can only see a faint yellow hue if I look to the sides, almost nothing down the road.

Planning to get a set of 3000k HIDs if I continue this as my DD (eyeing a 91 Civic 4WD hehe)

I agree the cheap eBay ones are horrible, and I am currency running 3000k hids. The lighting is way better, but I dislike the yellow/greenish look. That's why I want to look for an amber look. I don't care much about the light input.

Your call: since you know what exact fog color you wish and we don't, you will need to experiment + buy the yellow bulbs or tint the fogs to meet your color requirement. Good luck
