thanks! yea this was my project over christmas break so i have about 35+ hours into them (not including painting), I'll never do this ever again. so if something happens and they need to be repainted, I'll be matching you with the full black.ha
thanks guys, sorry i didnt specify, I did everything BUT shoot them, i know that kinda takes away from the "diy" aspect of it but i didnt want to practice my painting skills on my rims. The shop that did my hood (when i got into an accident) still had paint left over so after preping the rims i dropped them off and picked them up a couple days later..so
Heyseed : no the hood was professional sprayed
DigitalPro : its normal 2 stage automotive paint with a couple coats of heavy clear, this is actually Ford tuxedo black ( i used it because it had more of a silver flake compaired to scions metallic that i thought looked more blue, that and im a ford guy) and the tape was 3M masking tape i got a grainger,i think i had everything from 1/8 - 2in http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/3M-...BaseItem=2A675
psturm: thanks, no it was proffesional sprayed
tc crisis: thanks man!
