So I've been having some issues w/my MAF and the check engine lights going off an on. I'm getting P0103, P0012, & P01010, so 2 for the MAF and one for the cam shaft position.
I got my clutch replaced 2 weeks ago, and after that my car started going into limp mode/emergency mode and it won't go over 3000 RPMs. I've read a lot about WHY it happens and what to do to troubleshoot and fix it. I'm going to put my stock intake back in this weekend... it's a brand new MAF sensor... but after using two OBD machines (I work for a company who makes them) and trying several state softwares... I could clear two codes, but the MAF position error is still there and car stuck in emergency mode. Even w/a scantool the code wouldn't clear.
Any one have tips on how to get car back to normal? I'm thinking pulling ECU fuses or unplugging battery for awhile, but I think the code will just come back/car in emergency mode again. As far as troubleshooting, after I put my stock intake back I'm going to see what happens, and if that doesn't work maybe replace the ECU (I heard it wasn't that hard) and go from there.
Any ideas or advice? Help me make my car go over 3000 RPMs again!!! I'm sick of doing 55 in the slow lane haha :icon_redface:
