First post on Scionlife.. how's it goin guys? I'm Brandon and I'm from St Louis, MO. Just picked up a 2007 Release Series 3.0 5 speed on Saturday! Only 68k miles, Tein springs, Greddy rear tower bar, and that's about it. I love the car so far, definitely the best purchase I've ever made, and the first in my name with no cosigners.. score!

Future mods I'm looking at right now are Yakima roof rack for my bike, TRD emblem for the grill (do they even make those?), some more TRD suspension parts, and just minor things. I like the looks of the car enough, I don't think I'll really do a lot... but thought I'd share

Hopefully the tail lights are overlayed w/ Vinyl?

If you didnt know RS3 tails are valueable by others...I was looking for a pair.

 

Looks like they have a thin film on them. I don't know too much about RS series tails.

Agreed with others on the RS3 taillights, the tint has got to go and pray it's an overlay. Probably the only other RS I'd consider getting(would have been in one but was only a year into paying my previous tC).

 

I miss St. Louis.

Thanks guys. And yes it really is a film on the tails. I'm still 50/50 on if I want to keep it or take it off. I'd be happy either way.

Nothing major to update.. got my sticker order in Thursday and put them on. Not perfect, and not everyone loves stickers, but I thought it'd look fine on the right side of the hatch. That's all for now! lol

 

love the RS3! thank god that tint is vinyl! rip that ish off! or you can take em off and send em to me and ill send you my regular TYCs to tint! haha

 

Nothing really going on lately with the tC, except for 2 small mods. One was the CNCobb license plate bracket for the tow hook, which is quite nice actually. The holes didn't line up to Missouri's plate holes, but I'll take care of that sometime.





The other is a VW GTI-style pinstripe I added around the grill to give it an accent, and it didn't turn out too bad I think.





Still looking for plugs for the old plate holes I can use, then some touch up paint to paint over the plugs.
