A Speed Contest is an illegal exhibition of speed conducted on public streets or highways using a motor vehicle. It includes a motor vehicle race against another motor vehicle using a clock or other timing device. - Be arrested and have your vehicle impounded for 30 days.
- Be imprisoned for up to three months if convicted of street racing, or aiding or abetting a street race.
- Be fined for up to $1,000.
- Have your driver license revoked.
- Have your vehicle's insurance canceled or premiums dramatically increased.
- Have equipment violations issued.
Does the "What happens if I just watch?" seem VERY ambiguous?

but it doesn't make clear that spectating IS engaging, aids, or participates, it just makes clear what spectating is. the first sentence has nothing to do with the second.

The problem with news report is that it takes it too far. Making the offender/owner watch his car get crushed, or dumping the crushed vehicle in their drivway, serves NO purpose at all except to make the offender/owner bitter towards the police and legal system.
The last line there is the most important of that whole video. Most vehicles are owned by a financial company... So what happens when the government crushes a vehicle that is not owned by the offender? That's like saying your house should get the wrecking ball cause a teenager broke in and threw a party while you were on vacation...
