Basically my problem is I use my tC for alot of travel/job. I love LP's but they are just not economical for my current drive style. My job requires me to do ALOT of highway travel. Basically I put 10k on in about 5-6 months.

Just need some help on putting a non LP tire on the stock 17's. Kinda looking for a cross between a full tire and a LP to try and keep some of the "pimpness". A tire that is a lil more forgiving for the long travel time. Any help is appreciated! Thanks all.

try using a larger size tire possibly 215/50/17 or 225/45/17 will give you more sidewall. the 215/50/17 is available in a "V" rating so you should get more mileage. will also fill up the wheel well a little more if you dont have it dropped yet

FYI, going to a slightly taller size will help a little, however, it will more than likely cause some rubbing issues as well. The best solution to your problem would be to switch to either a Ultra High or or High Performance "All-Season" tire which will have harder compounds giving longer life, however, slightly less steering/handling response. Or as an option, minus size to 15 or 16 inch wheels and run one of the following tire sizes:

195/60-15 / 205/60-15 / 195/55-16 / 205/55-16
