Question Headlight assembly removal?

I was wanting to remove my headlight assembly, and realized that it was not as easy as I originally thought, because the bumper is in the way.

Does anyone here have any experience with removing the headlight housing?

My goal is to replace the factory projectors with HID D2S projectors.

you need to remove the front bumper, which is pretty straight forward. Once the bumper is off, then you will have access to the bolts at the bottom of the headlights.

I was taking a look at this: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=254

This way, I can replace my halogen projectors with HID projectors, and add a good quality 50w HID kit.

(This will also allow me to have 2 high beams)

To remove the bumper, is it just a few bolts and plastic pins at the top under the hood, and the rest underneath the car?

Are you retrofiting your high beams or low beams? The stock projector lens already has a clean cut off line.

I'm not touching my highs right now.

Replacing my low beam projector with HID projectors.

And it's nothing to do with the cutoff line. There are pretty distinct visual differences between Halogen, and HID projectors.

I was simply noting that the HID projector I'm using to replace the halogen projector happens to be a dual high/low beam projector. This will allow the projector to function as high beam in unison with my stock halogen highs.
