Headlight assembly compatible with HID bulbs??
I need help . Quick question.. I have a Scion tC 2009.. tRd edition.. And my headlights are starting to get steam inside the headlight assembly.. I do have HiD kit in them now, however, I was doing some research and bought out that some headlights sold on eBay cannot fit the HID bulbs because the housing is too small??. Anyone out there know a brand that I would have no problem switching too and just swap my hid to the new headlight assembly???
I'm not very picky of looks but .. I was sorta interested on aftermarket headlights units and also ones that have the angel halo rings .... Help guys :(

This is going to be hard to answer without knowing your brand/type of HID (factory, or aftermarket, etc). Obviously you want a set of headlights with a projector in which case i'm willing to bet Spyder would fit. I believe they also have HID kits they recommend for their lights.

Bake them open and reseal them
Plenty of how to's even on youtube
hidplanet.com is a forum for all things light related
theretrofitsource.com has you covered for all the parts you would ever need
they also have a youtube channel with tons of guides
I'm guilty of running HID's in my car without proper projectors, I blind people and get flashed all the time but dont really care. If i could do it over again I would get a retroquick kit from theretrofitsource.com and do it right.

Cant really argue with retro fitting them yourself. My only concern would be the age of the existing lights. The older they are, the harder they are to reseal. And if your going to do all that work, why not just buy a retro kit with oem HID's (like Acura, lexus, etc)
