how long would i use the blow dryer on the emblem to heat it up?

 

Get it hot enough so it's almost burn to the touch, but generally no longer than a minute at a time. Remember, it just needs to be hot enough to peel the thing off, not the gummy residue - that can be removed with the goo gone and a slow back-and-forth rolling motion with your thumb/index finger.

yeh..and i suggest going in circles with te blowdryer upon the emblem..and not leaving it directly upon the emblem. this way you can thoroughly heat up the glue in its entirety. then use the floss or fishing line to cut the emblem off, and the goo gone to remove the remainin glue as 'pharynx' mentioned. you should find it easy.

I don't think you even need one. I took mine off on a cool day with a piece of dental floss.

 

I used fishing line and a heat gun. Floss melts to fast when using the heat gun or hair dryer. Just take you time, and you will be very happy with your results!

 

I live in Florida and did the same...but ive done my girlfriends and a good friends with a blow dryer. Be careful to only use your thumb in removing the goop. Trying to peel can result in marks all over.
