please let me know if you have any problems, I have talked with AFE a few times, regarding a check engine light that stays on. Would be interested to know if it is a common problem, or just something that I have going on.

Have you tried re-setting the ECU? Sometimes that corrects the check engine light on.

CAI looks really good!!!

Did you clear the CEL or have you hit a shop to get it read? AutoZone, etc will do it for free, would be a big help if you have the code... just so we can all be on the look out.

Cleared my code like 15 times, always came back same PO101 code. took it off and sent it back.

Just installed mine. We will see if I have the same fate. Got a CEL and a traction control light when I first cranked up the car after the install. I disconnected the battery and let the car's ecu reset and cranked it back up and was golden.

the first time u try to start a car it will most likely fail cuz of "unexpected conditions" the second time is fine though. 200-300 miles since i reset the CEL and still fine.
ppl keep saying how much they love the way it sounds lol and it's all due to the intake, trully unleashes the stock exhaust......should be getting descendant soon we'll see how orgasmic it will become then

Yup! Well, sorta. When I cranked the car up after the install (before disconnecting the battery), it cranked and revved perfectly. Then, after I disconnected the battery to let the ECU reset, it cranked and immediately shut back off. The second crank went through as normal.

I wish I would have done intake first before exhaust. I can hardly tell the sound difference that the Takeda provides since the exhaust just overpowers it. I just hear a slightly more throaty sound coming from the engine bay at WOT but that's it. The sucking noise the intake makes when you blip the throttle becomes addicting though lol.

give some time for ecu to learn the new intake and then u'll love the HP/TQ gains!

Also, how long did it take for CEL to keep reappearing after you cleared it?
