Well, it's time to get summer tires for my xA, and with them I might as well get some new rims. I've made the tire decision (Roger, expect a call/e-mail shortly!), but I'm torn on the rims.

I found a great price on Motegi Trak Lite (http://www.motegiracing.com/applicationguide/motegiimages/big/b2381.gif) wheels; they come in at just under $1 000 including shipping. Problem is, I'm not real too sure about the gunmetal color with my IIP xA. As an alternative, I really like the Trak Lite 2 (http://www.motegiracing.com/applicationguide/motegiimages/big/b2313.gif) in silver, but they won't be available from my dealer until as late as June! I want rims now!

So how can you help? Give me some advice on alternatives to consider. I want a light weight wheel (<20 pounds) in 17 inches only. Manufacturer is irrelevant, but I don't want to spend much more than $1 200, unless it's just a kickass wheel that I can't live without.

Also, if you have an IIP xA or tC with gunmetal wheels, please post a picture of them to help with my decision.

The color for the Motegi Trak Lite is a flat gunmetal or flat black great wheel, i have a set of 19's im selling, but you are looking for 17's......thats too bad the Trak Lite 2 doesn't come out yet and the 17's only weigh 15lbs cant beat that..my 19's weigh 18lbs. as for alternatives in a lightweight wheel there are volk gram lights but you might not get 17's under 1200....but call around you might get lucky.
