Hey guys. I'm posting this in the regional forums cause I dont want all of scionlife included in this topic. I have looked around and didnt really find what I was looking for so I figured I would just stick to the areas around me here with you all.

Anyways I'm wanting wheel spacers and from the looks of it ICHIBA is the overall winner of choice. However there are almost close to ZERO!!!!! reviews on these. So i'm here asking you guys for your opinion, especially from those who are running spacers and could give me some insite. Preciate it guys.

Their great spacers I ran 20mm all around for about 2 years and no problems I even drove with them on to Vegas then socal and back. Just be sure to torque them down at the right specs I believe 75-80 lbs.

 

So which one version did you use ? Is there a difference ? and I'm guesing I should looking into getting the HUBCENTRIC correct ?

 

I had the version 2's and they come with hubcentric rings. V2's are usually better because it's just like a plug and play. V1's require more work.

So question. So with you running the 20mm how far out were you running ? were you flush with the fender or just slightly out ? I've seen how to measure the gap and everything however I'm unable to find a ruler or my tape measure. lol. Do you have any pics of when you had them installed ?

Well i ended up going with the Ichiba 15mm v2 wheel spacers. Not too shabby. Still want to come out further though. I got my 20mm ones in today. Hopefully going to be putting them on this friday or this weekend. I'll post pics of the difference between the two.

I had to grind the stock studs though.

 

say what ? really ? cause of fitment issues ? I didnt have any problems. Course I am running the stock rims. Are you running something other than stock ?

 

I have TENZO wheels that are universal 5-lug fit. So the Stock studs dont fit through and does not seat flat against the hub, thats why I had to grind the stock ones down. BUT if you have wheels that have the cut-outs between the holes you dont have to grind the stock studs.

 

ah I see. I guess the stocks then dont have this problem. Just took a look at the 20mm...looking promising. I'll keep you posted.
