Unhappy Can H&R ultra low coilover kit be installed on 2005 Scion tC?

I've spoken with H&R and other H&R distributors who have told me that H&R Ultra Low Coilover kit isnt compatable for my 2005 Scion tC. I know someone who put H&R Ultra Low Coilover kit on their 2007 Scion tC and had it dropped 4 inch from stock height. Is it possible to install suspension parts on a vehicle that it wasnt originally designed for and have it function correctly with no issues?

The suspension is the same from 2005-2010. However if H&R says it won't work then it likely won't work. And it is possible to install parts from other cars, but you sacrifice a lot of things in doing so.

A 4" drop is just stupid.
Do it, and be sure to post photos of what happens to your car after you drive it a while with a ridiculous drop...

Took a look at the coilover setup and seems height adjustment is NOT independent of preload. I'll pass. I don't even see a part number for any year tC for the Ultra Low.
