I want to get rims and tires when the spring comes around in 2012. Since the car comes with 18s, I want to upgrade to 19s

the stock is a 225 45 18
to maintain similar tire height i would have to go 235 40 19. Tires for this size are limited though. I could also go 245 35 19. This size has more selection.

I want to know, if a 245 wide tire will clear the fenders as I intend to lower the car also. What width rim would I need to get, ex a 9 or a 9.5, and what offset would I need.

I'd prefer to go 245 wide.

 

i'm sitting on 18x8.5 with 245 tires. i'd say you'll be fine up to 9.5 wide if you wnna run 245's. you'll be ok with anything lower than +45 offset.
