I used the large grommet where all the wires come through the firewall. Go pretty much straight back from your steering wheel and you'll see it. Large cluster of wires sticking out. I put it through from the inside of my car and had my friend pull on the outside. Be careful putting a hole in there though....stab a wire and badness will occur.

also.....way above the dead pedal, there is a little diamond cut into the insulation....drill a hole here......it will come out lined up with the battery on the firewall....

It depends on if you have an auto or manual. If auto, yes you can go through the driver's side. If you have a manual your clutch slave cylinder will be in the way, you then have to go through the passenger side behind the glove box.

Sorry, but no. Manual here. You just need to be careful where you run the wire and zip tie it out of the way.

i just did mine the other day. the grommet that all the ecu wires are running through on the passenger side, there is plenty of room to run it through there, just watch your wires, i used a coathanger and had no problems, take the glove box out for a better view

but why go through the trouble of taking out the glove box if you don't have to?????

I also used the large grommet near the steering column as it was conveinent for me since it's on the battery side of the car. So, I used the driver's side of the car to run power and I used the passenger side of the car to run everything else (speaker lines, remote turn on, signal cables, etc.).

For the grommet, we cut it on both sides, slipped the cable thru, then tapes it back up with electrical tape. Worked well for me.
