Just bought an 06
I just bought an 06. It has about 35k miles on.
I checked the air filter and it was very dirty. So here is my plan since its not my car...
I added a cabin filter
Changed the air filter
This weekend, I am going to do the following:
Change oil, going fully synthetic, and a k&n filter (got a good deal at advance auto)
Going to do a trans drain, I know its only going to drain about 1/3 of the fluid.. but thats fine, Ill do it again in 15k miles.
Changing the plugs, went with iridiums
Swapping the stock radio with my alpine so I can have bluetooth
Adding an arm rest as well (hopefully this weekend, if it is delivered)
I need to do the brakes at some point.... but that can wait till it gets closer to spring.
Anyone recommend anything else? pvc? clean the maf? etc..
thanks guys

Very good start on that XA. I like that both filters were addressed.
Read the D.I.Y. thread about replacing the factory sway bar end links with beefy poly energy suppressing bushings, see photos of this $20 mod. It tightens up the front end and will soften bumps and/or jolts.
