Personally I prefer it in flat black as opposed to the chrome look. Though I think chrome would look amazing on a black or blue car.

you have to open you hood sometimes, orig. is also close. oh, in non RS xB.

its the flat black paint, it casts a bigger shadow since its black. the gap is normal, is that is an oem grille.

Nope. Air doesn't enter the engine bay thru the top grill. Our RS1 billet grilles have a black plastic backing plate so that air does not enter the engine thru it, and so that the grill doesn't cause a whistle sound.

Air enters only the lower grill to the radiator for cooling purposes. The top grill is for looks only.

That's tight. It would look sweet in a black chrome or color-matched. It's too bad i bought the GrillCrafts already, I would've been a customer...

And don't ruin it with a logo...

hmm..upon further inspection...the top edge of grill does "appear" to be level with the top of headlights... maybe tis the angle and shadows...

hmm.. i wonder if pick one up if can get discount or somthing for referals...lmao... j/k... sorta ;)

I like the smooth grille. Toyota should have put it on at the factory, rather than that hard-to-clean fake grille.

Well it's made of fiberglass, and just painted using a chrome-like paint.

I've been running this grille for a few weeks now and it looks so much better IMO than the billet one that looks out of place. I am also looking at another option that might look even better. I'll post pics once I have that one on. And if anyone is interested, this one might be for sale if i switch to that one.

well i just wanted to compare the top line edge of my grille, to everyone elses grille. to show that they are exactly the same. no difference, only mine is flat. flat black too for that matter

Okay I tried to color match the grill, and I think not bad for a first timer. But, I couldn't change the color to TCM without it looking funky. Here it is:

Nope...its not a "Damd" grill.... tis a replica.... i got a prototype on my xB now.... if you see the pick of a BOP xB witha mirror grille on this thread or the "mirror mirror" thread, heck i think even one of the shops selling them..... its prolly my xb... i've sinced rattle can'd it a dark blue....well close to BOP as i could get off the shelf... but its not bad looking grille.... t-dot is finally getting the "final" version done now...think offering it mirrored or black....
