Personally I prefer it in flat black as opposed to the chrome look. Though I think chrome would look amazing on a black or blue car.

it take away from the lava you should put the original grill back it looks better.

you have to open you hood sometimes, orig. is also close. oh, in non RS xB.

 

might be the picture....but it seems there is way too big of a gap between the hood and it...

its the flat black paint, it casts a bigger shadow since its black. the gap is normal, is that is an oem grille.

 

Nope. Air doesn't enter the engine bay thru the top grill. Our RS1 billet grilles have a black plastic backing plate so that air does not enter the engine thru it, and so that the grill doesn't cause a whistle sound.

Air enters only the lower grill to the radiator for cooling purposes. The top grill is for looks only.

 

I think that if you colormatch it with the scion logo in the middle would look awesome

That's tight. It would look sweet in a black chrome or color-matched. It's too bad i bought the GrillCrafts already, I would've been a customer...

hmm..upon further inspection...the top edge of grill does "appear" to be level with the top of headlights... maybe tis the angle and shadows...

hmm.. i wonder if pick one up if can get discount or somthing for referals...lmao... j/k... sorta ;)
