Geeze finaly gont my s-techs in. Was such a headache. I started last night at 8pm and finished up at 2:30 am.

Considering all i had was a ratchet/wrench set and man power.

The front two springs were easy to get off and installed. But the rear was a _____. Couldent compress the springs far down enough to get the nut back on.

had to use my 300 pound Friend to push down the spring coils.

Did anyone else Do there own springs, how long did it take you guys..

i did mine on friday. took me about the same time. id say 2 hours was wasted on the first (trouble shooting). yes, it was lengthy.

did you use spring compressors? you can get some cheapies at Harbor Freight for $9.99. Not the best, but good for one or two installs.

Yeah, I wouldn't reccomend installing springs without a spring compressor. Those springs can be dangerous!

i dont like the spring compressor harbor freight offers. i bought one and man, was it a waste of money. i do like the spring compressors at autozone. they work great.

5.5 hours for the front? or the whole install? i think the front was really easy compared to the rear.
