Default Blizzaks or Harmony's????

Hello. Im new to the Scion world by default, as my Fiance' drives an 06 XA. I think its a great little car and its fun to drive, however it snowed here the other day and it became....lets just say not so fun. We need new tires and I have done some research and it seems alot of the people on this sight prefer Blizzaks, however I have also heard good things about the Michelin Harmony's. From what I read on different sights the harmony's seem to do good on some cars and not so good on others. Does anyone here have any experience with them, and if you do, how do they handle in the snow? Im also not stuck on either tire by the way, I just want to make an informed purchase. Thanks for any input you may have-Eric

I had my Blizzaks for winter tires for the past 3 years and I am sure I can get at least 2 more years out of them. I'm not sure where you live but I'm up in MN and the winters up here can be pretty bad, except for this year, its been very mild. I can get around just fine with mine. I still choose my roads wisely and stay to plowed streets but with mine I feel confident I can get where I need to go.

A friend of mine that works at Discount Tire uses the Michelin Harmony's on his V6 Tibruon and he loves them. I haven't personally tried them so I have no experience with them.

So realistically you would probably be just as happy with either tire.
