Default My new Shoes **FREEBIE** (56k maybe)

Well my boss owns a SWEET MiniCooper S... He had this stock set of wheels sitting in his back yard for the longest time.... The other day i went back there, brushed off grass/leafs/dirt to un earth them, and ask if he had any plans for them....
"Take'em, put em on that ugly @$$ box of yours" Brushed that comment off like i did the dirt on these wheels but anyways, cleaned them up and put them on today.... Tell me what you think!

Their running 205/45-17 pirelli Run flats, basicly almost blald, so their gunna need new rubber here soon, but i can last 1k-2k more before having to change them.

in my findings i found this.... what are they doing putting a toyota part on a Scion!!

I've been wanting to do do the same thing with the mini wheels - what'd you have to do to put them on? Any spacers?

yeah, had to do spacer on the rear b/c of rims were contacting the swing arm.... Makes for a better look too, b.c w/o them the wheels were just to far in... Would like to see more thread usage on the lugs tho... No quite what i like to see, but it'll work for now. No prob on the front... Now i havent riden it yet (restrict licence) but from what i could tell in my driveway, no probs w/ steering, i'll let you know tomm how they ride. Tho the rims were VERY close to calipers and springs, they dont contact at all.

Those Scion logos will peel off the hubcaps, then just get them to fit...

I was planning on getting the exact same wheels, but found that they were heavy as hell (I believe they're 26 ibs a piece!) They look sweet tho, I like the whole retro-minilite connection. i'd leave the minicooper caps, people will be confused

I looked into those wheels too, then I found out how much they weigh! I think 26lbs is correct.

The xB doesn't even look anything close to a h2. People sure are weird.
