Default tC valve cover on xB2...

So in my pursuit for cleaning up my engine bay, I decided to scoop up a tC valve cover. The tC cover is slightly different than the xB2's. I think the valley where the coilpacks sit is lower on the tC, because you can get the flat covers like Doctor Isotope makes.
I remember r2d2michael grabbed a tC valve cover, and had problems with the coilpacks. I found some tC coilpacks on this forum for a great deal, so I pulled the trigger.
Just letting everyone know that the tC valve cover works, but only with the tC coilpacks. I also noticed that the tC coilpacks are about 1/2"-3/4" shorter than the xB2's. This is why r2d2michael had to use a spacer on his.

I know I suck because I don't have any pictures, but it was cold out and I wanted to go back inside. I'll get pics when I take the tC cover off for powder.

Default Valve Cover

What did you do with your original valve cover? If you still have it will you sell it to me with the plastic baffle that covers the lifters? If not the valve cover at least the plastic baffle please.

LMK
Thanks

I'll see where I'm sitting after powder.
I'll let you know, bro. Sounds like your plastic baffle fell off... not a good thing. I'm pretty sure that the baffle helps lube the cams.

Naw it didn't fall off...when I got the car the valve cover was damaged and so was the plastic baffle...I got a TC cover but it didn't come with the baffle ..and that's where I am now.

Your absolutely right about it helping to lube the cams.

Would really appreciate it.

Thanks again

I had to switch back to the xB2 cover because one if the tC coils took a dump on me.
