Hey guys, I'm sure some people have had this or seen it or at least know something about it. My hatch garnish ripped off the other day -- all the clips -- has anyone heard of a recall? I heard from someone there was a petition. I would like to get it fixed soon because I'm showing this year. Thanks for any input.

 

buy a new garnish and replace the clips. mine got replaced under warranty. the oem garnish's come color matched so you can just buy a new one and replace the broken garnish.

 

Okay, that was my plan. What's the price on that?

does anyone have photos of the clips themselves, I want to dig thru my toolbox (used to work at Lexus) and see what I have to replace mine with, garnish starting to get loose.

 

use scotch's outdoor double sided tape and put it back on. i did that to mine and it is stronger than it was stock. it has held up for a year and counting.
