Hey guys, I was trying to remove the transponder from my original key to put in a new key i bought on ebay, and i DAMAGED THE CHIP in the process... Is there anything i can do to solve this problem? I really dont wanna pay like $300 at the dealer. Please help lol thanks!

theres no possible way of deactivating the anti-theft system? messing with the wires or anything like that?

 

no... you're SOL. you need a new chip.

i do not have a spare key thats the thing...

found a transpoder key online for $17.00.... If your remote alarm thing isnt broken, you don have to pay almost $200 cause thats the expensive part. Now just gotta program it for $50 at the delaer... Totoal like 70 bucks intead of $300

it was just a stupid mistake trying to take the chip out... i bought a flip key and i wanted to transfer the transponder but forget it now lol

 

lol, yeah I wouldn't do that unless you had a spare. ohwell, learn the hard way.

ouch that sucks...

I replaced both of my keys with switch blade and used a soldering gun to slowly melt the plastic away from the chip.

 

If you guys ever need an immobilizer chip programmed, just send me a private message(lower price) or go to my ebay listing. I can make a chip to start your car without having the car in front of me. You can then put the chip inside whatever case you want, program the wireless remote to your doors and the car will start.
