I just got my HID kit, but I'm not sure where to mount the ballasts because I don't want it to get wet. Has anyone ever put them under the headlight because I heard that was a good place to put to keep it from getting wet when, for example, I want to wash my engine. I will post pics once I get everything installed.

 

im still looking for a place to mount my ballast too, but it looks like everything stays pretty dry inthere if it rained so i dont have to worry about that too much, mayb off to the side next to the fender, you know what i mean?

 

I havent tried for the Tc specifically, but in general theres some empty space around the front of the radiator support if you unbolt the skin of the bumper.

 

Where did you guys get ur hid kits? And what color tempature? What brand?
Iam looking into buying but dont know where to order from. I was thinking like 8000K.

I mounted the balast for the driver side under the battery, fits perfectly. I mounted the passenger side one right behind the Hi beam portion of the head light. there's a little bit of room there, perfect for the balast. Tape any connections with electrical tape, to hide them, and also protect them from water.
You have to look really hard to tell I have HIDs, with the hood open.
I ran the 6000ks, which are pretty bright, still trying to find the right adjustment.

i got 6000 k's and i love them. i got them from streetrays.com 355.00 i forgot the brand name but there used in all german cars. i have pics but dont know how to post them but i live in brick if u wanna see them.[/url]

 

i found a pretty good spot to put them. It's right under the headlight. First I had to clean the area with some brake cleaner. Then I fitted it down there to see what a good spot was. There's just enough room to fit the ballast under there. The wiring was a little tricky because there wasn't much room. But I got it in place and I'll post pics ASAP.

Thats what I did with the ballasts on my Integra. Made for a nice, clean-looking install.
