Thats a long life, I know people that didnt even get 2 years out there battery

 

I got 7 years from my original battery. Seems about average for the xB.

 

7 years is a real long time considering you have to deal with the cold of winters. Mine lasted about 5 years.

 

i replaced mine before it went dead... i think it was five or so years on the original

 

That's amazing!
(*Even more amazing is that you still have the car after 7 years! )

 

Monday after thanksgiving will be starting year 8 ... I still have a blue eye and terminals are clean ... going for at least 10 years ha! Helps to have a solar panel keeping it topped off when I don't drive it for days at a time.

 

Great idea! That's one heck of a long time with the stock battery! My LS400 did 19 years with the OEM one!! Just changed it

My replacement battery is lasting longer than the one Scion delivered it with. My Scion battery died in 2008.

I have my xB now, wow, 8 years, 17 days and still under 50K miles...

 

Yeah in year 8 now and 52k on the clock ... Runs great but I see a lot of rusty spots under it. Steering is just easy to turn now without any play.

 

I got six+ years out of my battery(06 XB purchased in Oct, 05). Funny, a week before it went out I mentioned to a friend that "I wonder how much longer I can get out of my battery?". I lived in Korea for 5 years so my XB only had around 25K when the battery died. Replacement battery cost 78 bucks.

 

I still have the original. It's been 8 years 3 months so far.
