Does anyone know how to take out the clear part of the tailights of an xB. I got the whole tail light out, but I want to tint the inside of the taillight, but I need to take off the clear part first. I tried prying it cuz I see these clips, but I didn't want to pry till it broke. Is there an easier way???

 

Why don't you spray the outer lens, or just buy one already tinted?

 

Pry CAREFULLY. Some will probably break. Better off to do the outside...

 

Heating it up in the oven makes the plastic more flexible. Take all the bulbs out and pull off the conductive strip, then throw them in for 5 minutes at 250 degrees.

 

or use a blowdryer

 

actually you dont need to heat them up at all. if you careful enough you can take them off in 5 - 10 mins.



as for the tint, you can only tint the outside of the oem tail lights
