Default Should I get this tC?

My car was totalled this weekend and I've been looking at Tcs for the passed month. I'm kinda picky - I want a white 08-10 model with a 5speed with less than 50k miles. I'm kind of desperate for a new car since mine was totaled.

Found a White 09 tC with 15k miles on it for $16k. Should I jump on it?

I would try to talk the seller (if it's private party) down to at the most $14,000. But that would be if it's in very good condition.

Offer him a random number like $13,300 and see if he bites. If not, work your way up to $14,000 and don't go any higher. True you want your tC, but 16 is just way too much for a three year old car with 15,000 miles.
+1 might as well get a brand new tc if your going to go that far most is probably give for that would be 12-13k

$15,500 is the KBB value. I wouldn't pay it for a car soon to be 4 years old, but that's the going price with that mileage apparently.

Nada is what dealers use so that's what I've always went by just low ball the guy starting at 10-11k then work your way up to your Max and his lowest because that's a bit much

There's a silver 08 with 67k on Craigslist for 10.5k lol. I'll pass :p. I don't want silver anyways.

There's also a blue 08 5speed with 44k for $12k.

Damnit, I don't know what to do. I want that 09 White 5speed for $16k..or should I just settle for blue and save $4k lol. Would getting it painted white be a bad idea?

I was just putting it out there for the random chance. I've got mine listed nowhere but hey, if someone wants to pay off my loan + a little more, why not right? lol.

You can get that for under 11k look around craigslist and have your machanic come with you to check it out and run a carfax lots of sketchy sellers. Much better deal than the dealers that rip you off.

Yeah put up some pics! I honestly don't even know what half that shiz is. I'm in DFW, Tx btw so I'm not far at all. What gas mileage does that thing get?

Found a perfect one up in Iowa and thinking about driving down to get it. $12,500 for an 08 5speed SW with 30k miles. Heck of a deal and exactly what I want

So is the EPA's 20mpg city accurate?? It seems like people on here are getting more than that and all I do is city driving and I drive about 18k miles a year so good mpg is important. I just have a Mustang now and it gets 19mpg and i don't like it lol.

i dont know what mpg this thing has. i hardly drive it and i have another car that i daily drive. it is just sitting in the garage, but i do drive it in the weekends to keep the engine lubricated. this car has gone through 3 deployments that i dont have the time and interest anymore. too busy at work/training and when i come home i am burnt out. this is a built motor/turbo and requires more TLC than an NA, so you need to know what youre doing.
