So my brother recently bought a 05 Scion xA with 165k on it. Runs great only issue is the rpm gauge no longer works. It was working intermediately for the first couple of days, but not its just not working. Any ideas/places to start. I tried searching on here but no luck. Any help would be great, thanks!

 

Has he checked the wiring that belongs to the gauge?
