xb :: Short Shifter
TRD - around 20% shorter throw, but stock height. Somewhat expensive compared to others. If you want a lightly shorter throw and want to keep it looking stock than this is a good option.
TWM Performance - 30% shorter throw, two inches off stock height and the shifter is set in a more neutral position. Throws are shortened a lot compared to the others. Good price for a good mod.
Perrin Shifter - around 30% shorter throw (not entirely sure), Adjustable shifter height. The adjustable shift height is a good plus, a bit expensive though. Also, Perrin products are known for ther somewhat shady product development...
RS Short Shifter - 20-25% shorter throw, around one inch shorter, comes with it's own shift housing. Cheapest among the shifters, but not much is known on the quality and design. The silver ring for the boot will not fit on the rod so plan to get a new shift **** and boot ring if you want it to look nice.

TRD is easier to install. Did mine is 10 min .
you’ll know the difference after you drive with a short shifter.
after driving my box for a few months with the short shift I drove a stock shifter
thats when you realy feel the difference between the two.

If you do not want to mess around with the stock shift the TRD is the way to go

Agree 100%.
i also have the trd one... but i dont like the throw.. not short enough, in fact, IMO i dont think it is much of a difference as the stock one. i havnt tried any other ones but i would rather get a different one then the trd.
I think it depends a lot on how tall you are... or how long your arms are. I feel like the TRD shifter is good because if it were about 2 inches shorter, I'd probably have to drive hunched over.
The main thing that I noticed about the TRD shifter is that it makes the shifts feel a lot more precise... it's not stubby either, but imo, the transmission doesn't really have that progressive shift feeling that an S2000 has... hrm, it's summer time and I really want to get an S2000 now...
