It was easy .. The instructions are included and it’s the easiest one to install.
After a few months of driving with the short shifter I took the assembly off and greased the shift cables and the shifter itself and felt smother shifting . I drove a friends stock xb and I can defiantly tell the difference
I've had the TRD one in my xB about 3 months after owning the car--still works great to this day. I tend to stick to products from manufacturers I trust, can't go wrong with TRD themselves.
I was more confident in a full shift assembly replacement (TRD) over someone who hacked the shifter in half and called it "short throw". That's just me being paranoid about things though--I've never tried the others, but I really haven't felt the need to.
