Default question about buying new tc

So let's say i want a TC with NO OPTIONS other then the stock bodykit, how likely am i going to get the car i want and not have to wait? do dealers usually add on the extra stuff after you ask for it? or do most of the tc's come with bunch of add ons already, and you're forced to wait for a clean non optioned out car?

I haven't been to a dealer yet as i'm just starting my research... but thought i'd ask the community before i begin.

It really depends on where you go. At my dealership I keep 'em all bone stock as do alot of other places. Let us know where your from and maybe we can point you towards a reputable place to pick one up. Good Luck~ Dan

Yeah, both places I test drove tC's at don't have anything in them, no radios even.

They wait for the purchase then add everything you want.

With the exception of Side Impact Airbags...

Where I went, both their tc's were stock/no options, but they were both automatic. I had to wait 4 days for my 5-speed to come in. It may just come down to color preference for you.

No radio? That's odd.

The ones I test drove had different options on them. I think cars get shipped to the dealer bone stock and most of the options are added on by the dealer upon request. However if you want things like a spoiler or body kit, they have to order (or find) a car with those aesthetic options.

I went to 4 dealers...only one tC had ground effect pre-install! Otherwise, wait for a day or two for them to install it!
