I want a more beefy sounding exhaust w/o spending $500.

Yeah me too. Iam thinking about getting that angled one from e-bay. I think its 165.
what do you guys think? Should i get it? I dont want a POS thats gonna break and rust and have to be replaced soon.

best way to get a good exhaust w/o paying all the money is to have a shop build you one......most expensive piece will prolly be the muffler.....most shops will run piping and weld/attach it all together for around $100

dude, i just got the angled exhaust from ebay and its freakin sweet. It sounds amazing and i will post pics soon. there might be a 1whp gain... if you can really tell that much, but it sure sounds like its faster... much faster.

Getting an exhaust just for sound is like drinking a non-alcoholic beer. All taste, no fun.

well how much more power can you get from .... say an axle back. Not a significant amount. It might feel more powerful, but thats probably psychological

Axle-backs are the non-alcoholic beers of aftermarket mods. You may get 4-5 crank HP which equates to just about nothing to the wheels, they sound good though.

If ya want a little performance with your bling go with the CC Full Exhaust, dyno'd 12whp above stock. The aluminized one is $431 w/o a cat or about $530 with a cat.

I just bought a polished magnaflow muffler 3" inlet/outlet with 4" tip ($105) and will be getting 2.5" or 3" custom piping done from catback (inlcuding s-pipe) for $75..will post up pics and sound clips..
