Not that I'm aware of. They probably just sent it to a local installer to have it done.

The quick answer is "No they are not."

All current "factory options" (meaning those "blessed" by Scion) are listed at http://Scion.com.

Other than that, there are many "options" made by various aftermarket suppliers, and some of them are installed by dealers.

There are also many dealers who contract with local aftermarket installers to install goodies for their customers.

Some of these aftermarket oprions are backed by the individual dealers of distributors a customer got them through, but not by Toyota/Scion.

Hope that helps...

Ask about the warranty on them.

Honestly, you ALWAYS have to worry about a sunroof leaking.
Even on my Porsche, which was designed to *have* a sunroof
stock has leaking problems (after 17 years).

But that didn't stop me from getting a dual sunroof setup on
my xB.

They don't come stock with sunroofs, the dealership has them installed for customers through local vendors. The place that does the sunroofs here SUCKS though so I'm not going to get one... I wanted a sunroof sooo bad too. They screwed my boyfriend's mom over so bad though so I'm going sunroof-less...

forgot to add...

Find out who is going to do it if you're doing it through the dealership. Find out if they have a good reputation before you let them cut up your car!!

Had one put into to mine, power roof that the glass when open goes in between the headliner and the roof. Has a tilt feature as well. Maybe took about a half an inch of head room. Has not rain yet so we will see about the leak but it did come with a good warranty. One, thing when you turn the car off the roof will close automaticaly.

KING TOYOTA did mine. And they do it to new xB's all the time, as a dealer installed option.

Worth it, you ask me.

Had mine put in at the dealer and it kicks ___. Its a top of the line Inalfa unit. HUGE!! Has tilt and slips between the rood and the headliner. Auto close with manual lockout when you turn the key off. One touch operation from any position. Rained A LOT here in Ohio recently and not a drip. Real quality installation. Only complaint is that it sounds like some of the wires might vibrate in the A pillar on relaly rough roads but then again that might just be the box in the first place. Mine looks totally factory.

3year 36000 mile warranty through the installer

Big thumbs up to the installers.

I got the roof over a year ago and the dealer had it installed locally probably a shop near the dealership. It was done extremely well. NO LEAKS and it closes aoutmatically. It's from WEBASTO :silly:

I had a qoute from a shop in town for the sunroof and was qouted about $1200. The dealer wanted about $2500. Yeah big price difference there.
