Default Intake instal Q's

does anyone know of anywhere that tells how to install a SRI for an 05 xB
sorry if this has already been posted, but i dont want to screw this up
any help would be appreciated, thanks

What intake are you installing? There are different procedures for different ones.

There has got to be a how to on here somewhere... Anyway, it's really easy and it should come with instructions. It's been a while since I installed mine but this is basically how it goes. If I leave anything out someone just fill it in for me.
First take out the stock box. It's really simple, just disconnect all the hoses, remove the sensor and take out the 3 or 4 bolts inside the box. Then go ahead and mount the new piping and put the sensor back on. It's really that easy. It comes with a long bracket that supports the sensor. That bracket mounts down near where the bottom of the stock box was. The wires on the sensor may seem like they wont make the stretch to the new piping but they will. Also, I took out my battery just to let the cone slide down behind the light a little easier. Again, a really simple install. Should take all of about 20 minutes to do if you have everything you need.
