Default Question for anyone who has the TRD Lowering Springs

For those of you who have these springs installed on your tC,did you get the shocks as well? If you didn't is the ride quality "okay"? I'm gonna buy the TRD Springs but i'm not sure if it is worth it to get the shocks right away. I beleive the drop for the TRD's is 1.25 wich isn't too much (compared to other springs and coilovers i've seen for this car). I'm pretty sure i can run on stock shocks for about 1 - 2 years.

Do you guys think it's worth it to get the shocks or should i wait 1 or 2 years untill my stock shocks get warn out.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Greg

Greg.. I'd say it depends whether you enjoy the ride. if you are fine with the way the car is rolling down the street then there's no need to spend extra $$$ to get shocks.. if its too bouncy or whatevers you might want to get some shocks

I've had my TRD springs for over six months. I didn't replace my struts, I kept the stock ones. The ride is definitely not bouncy, in fact, it feels more controlled than before I changed the springs. If your stock struts are in good condition, just get the springs now, then years down the road you can replace them with something better, and maybe you'll want different springs then too (or coilovers.)

I have lowerd a lot of tCs already with their stock shocks and have never had any problems before. If you got the dough I say replace them, if not you will be fine. The shocks are not going to blow out on you with in the first week or anything. So don;t worry and happy lowering. :D
