They've tested on bone stock 04 Celica GTS and have made 10Hp to the wheels and that was just on air/fuel adjustments. Look at power enterprises japan site there altezza (is300) made 15+HP with this unit.

Celica GTS has VVT-iL. . . you will see better gains with cams that have variable lift, which we don't. I doubt we will even see 3hp with this. . .

Most of the gains will have do with air/fuel. If I had a Celica GTS, or Corolla/Matrix XRS, it would totally be worth it.

Well if you have the basic intake headers exhaust you can use the camcon to fine tune everything.. Its all about tuning your car you can add performance parts but what good is it if it isnt tuned??? I was just informing people that it was out so if your not about tuning then stop hating.

I'm not hating at all. . . just curious why this would be superior to a AF management for a VVT-i (no L) equipped car

you don't have to be offended by crticism or technical analysis. I'd definitely be interested in tuning, I'm just trying to justify the cost, relative to other options. This may in fact be a superior product, and I myself would like to see someone post reasons why

if I had a turbo, and like a $1 million, I'd buy it. This probably isn't suited for N/A engines.

uhmm celica gts has VVTL-i not VVT-iL.....hehe just wanted to clarify that...dont wanna seem like a dick but yea...ok thanks...

also...some people out there might actually spend this much for those kinds of gains... because there are some people out there willing to spend money just to get few gains... to some people gains are gains...no matter the cost...also it mite be useful in the long run...maybe u mite actually build the 1.5 maybe adding cams when or if ever they do come out, and it wont hurt having it....well just my two cents (I myself might actually look into this)

so what are the potential benefits on a non VVTL-i for this unit versus some other AFM?

Default CAm Con

You can adjust the timing and the air/fuel ratio with the unit. I have one on the way to help with adjusting these to help with my super charger.
