Say you were in my shoes,given the chance to repaint your car,unlimited funds and choices of color,design,graphics and style.The theme is JDM meets custom USA style with both equally represented.Here is a chance to have creative input on my rebuild and maybe give me some ideas that I didnt think of.If possible submit drawings and pics of your ideas.I will make a descision by July 1st.When the car is done whomevers Idea I chose will be given credit and possibly a chance to have his or her name on the car somewhere.Oh yea,it still has to be two-toned.Good luck!!

Interesting but.... give more flesh to this: YOU have unlimited funds by which to do this? And you want to put a bunch of creative dreamers to task to design your dream car? And only one of those artists will see any fruit of his/her work? And whoever does the job that appeals the most to your tastes will:
ahem! that's a pretty thin slice of pie for the -designer of your custom car-

If I were to win I'd insist that my name go somewhere like, under the cup holder

-tune your request and you might get some excitement going. Like, offer the winner free use of your car for a week plus room and board vacation in your home town...

OR, because you have "unlimited funds" why don't you offer prize money of say, $1,000????

In the spirit of Japanese modification, and american style, I'd like to see an xB big rig conversion (I know, it sounds dumb).

Maybe a wide body kit, vertical exhaust stacks in front of the cab, but behind the hood. Maybe quad wheels in the rear. . . a nice International badge. Air bag suspension would be a must, with smaller rims with some ACTUAL sidewall. . . man I could go nuts with a monster garage type conversion! You could get the rear frame from a junked pickup, and add a dbl axel to the car, extending behind the hatch. Maybe have a real hitch back there (not that it could tow anything).

It's got everything to do with this thread. I'd like to see artwork for that. And if not pretty? Most custom jobs aren't, anyway.

 

So I get this PM from SIFly about my thread,seems to be a little confusing,seems I am asking for free work,not so,so since everyone is asking,here it goes.

Im 110% sponsored by a very big paint company withch will remain nameless untill all submissions are in,I have unlimited supplies and labor hours,the only limitations are no green and keep it two-toned.I already have all/most of the parts to finish,all is left is the paint and graphics.So this thread was to see who had some good Ideas and maybe get in on the design.And as for the recognition,I already have 2 confirmed magazine shoots when its done,and others in the works,and was thinking of ways to include the winning designers name on the car somewhere in plain and noticible site,So if any artists/stylists are interested,let me know,also,no phsyical labor is expected from the artist,only their ideas,so I dont see how it would be costly.Thanx again,here is my car now,lets see how we can chaqnge it.
