I did a search for the JDM helix red/clear taillamps using google and found nada... Grrrr...!!!!

 

You need someone with a JDM hookup to get those.

Um, yeah. I'd just check around and if you see someone on the boards with them, ask where they got them. They probably won't be cheap either.

 

Yeah, I saw the truely clear ones for $210 in the forums
somewhere. Not the smoked helix ones, but true clear.

Then it looks like someone tinted or kandied the red part
and then added the chrome garnish.

All in all, you are looking at about $300 for those tails as
you see them. That kinda turned me off from them, but yeah,
I want them too!!!!

 

what is the official law for taillights? what is legal and what will i get pulled over for?

 

You will probably get pulled over for not having red rear reflectors. I think the smoked Helix ones comes with some you can stick on the back of your car somewhere (tacky, IMO) but I'm not sure if these do.

 

You're looking at over $300 worth of tail light right there between the tail and the chrome.

Look through sponsored sales and your usual suspect JDM OEM Toyota parts websites.
