Default DVD Monitor install in tC.

Hey there. I recently bought a Jensen VM9510, and I'm worried about the current Metra stereo kit I have in my dash. The one with the pocket on the bottom. I'm aware that these types of units extend a bit further out, but I'm a little sketchy on if it'll clear the retractable cover or not.

For those of you with tCs that have installed flip-out DVD monitors, did you use the Metra kit? I heard you can use the stock brackets, how would I go about mounting/drilling new holes if necessary?

And is it possible to use the metra wiring harness I had for my old Panasonic, cut that and splice with it the harness that came with my monitor?

I'm not useless with this kindof thing, I just need a little push in the right direction, Thanks!
