Can't get AM stations at all?
Since I had my Panasonic tv/dvd 7200 installed, I get no AM stations at all.
Did they NOT hook up the antenna?
Is there an antenna on the xb?
What can I get to help boost the AM signal?

there are 2 antennas in the xB. each is mounted on the rear side windows. it is possible that one of them came unplugged because they need a power source in order to amplify the signal. if FM is working, then try checking the connections on the wires coming from the in glass antennas, which are behind the plastic covers in the rear. i don't know which one is AM and which is FM, but that's probably the best bet. have the stereo shop check it out.

Look at this pic, is there an easy way to get back there????
Into the side panels, without moving this box too much?
nice box. yeah, i should have been more clear. i meant the upper, light colored side panels. you can start at the corner where the hatch is and pry the plastic back. there should be a small plastic connector right near the back of the rear glass, and somehow maybe one of them got disconnected. it's just a guess though. i'm not sure.

I actually don't get fm that good. I'm running a monitor/dvd/tv tuner and the fm sux. I still get it but its static and if I go places were the original radio was deccent enough, I don't get anything, just spanish channels. The guy at the stereo shop said it uses the tv antenna, is that correct? That sux if it's like the tv and only gets good reception when the car is still.
Besides hooking up the coaxial antenna wire to your deck, you also have to hook up the power antenna wire (usually blue) on your deck to the factory wiring (blue wire on the Toyota wiring harness I bought).
