Hey everyone... there are a few in Florida.. I am in Miami and have had mine since August of last year. There are also a few I have seen around. Fended is in Miami also and has had his a few months I believe.

Scion Dealership in Naples said they have sold 4 this month. Get ready for a surge of Hot Lava as the Ft. Myers dealership said they are supposed to get 4.

Do you know when the Naples Florida dealership is going to get their first Hot Lava Xb R1 and how many they are going to get in total?

Not sure when it's supposed to come in but it's already spoken for (not by me but someone else) According to the sales guy I talked to that's the only one they are getting.

spoke with Toyota today - what they claim is that all the S.E. Toyota dealers will be getting ONE xB RS1.

Most of the RS's are in port already, but are being held until more ships arrive (there are 4 ships in total arriving).

Once each dealership allocates it's ONE Hot Lava xB, they will be given additional units based on what the demand is.

As far as "demand" - Toyota claims that along the Gulf Coast, there is none for xB RS1 - no one's asking (ordering) them.

I'm in J-ville too. I finally saw my first one on the road tonight at Chik-Fil-A at the corner of Atlantic and Hodges. I think it was the dark red color.

Yes, I am in Florida and am actually waiting for my xB to arrive at the dealership here in Sarasota. I had a horrible experiance with Gettel Toyota/Scion in Bradenton, FL and decided to go to Germain Toyota in Sarasota, FL.

I am waiting on my Polar White and put my deposit down already. It's supposed to arrive on March 8th or 9th. Anyways, I think I'd rather have an RS 1.0 for the extra grand or so. Think there is any way they'd let me alter that? It's probably already spoken for if each dealer is getting only one of them. Any idea when they will arrive? I might call my dealer tomorrow and inquire about that.

I might get to the tuner bash in Daytona, I am from there, so it would give me a reason to visit some people too. =)

I live in Gainesville and I'm renting a polar white xB for the weekend to see if we want to buy one. Everyone in town is going nuts about it. People are going to break their necks trying to get a glimpse of it. My husband took it to gas it up and 3 different people came up to him and were like, "What is that?" they all wanted to see inside it like it was a lamborghini or something!! I just can't believe the reaction it's getting.

Hey Vin who did you work with there? I'm supposed to go in there next week and meet with Sam. What did you end up ordering? From sounds of this looks like I might take a trip up to Ft. Myers instead.

The ladies name was Jan Christian or close to that. We just didn't feel comforatable with how things were going. My wife actually went down there while I was at work to order the RS1 hot lava and gave her $1000 deposit. When I got home I looked over the paperwork and saw the price plus tax, tag, title, and fee. I asked my wife how much the fee was and she said what fee???? So I called Jan and she said it was a $500 dealer fee. That was above the included handling fee . She said that was cheap because it was $1200 on the East coast. I asked why she did not tell my wife about the charge? She said, " because she didn't ask." And she said it in a very nasty tone. I asked if I could get my money back and was told only if the car was not delivered sometime in March. I just didn't like the negative attitude. We really wouldn't have minded the $500 if it was explained first. By the way it is a $250 charge in Ft. Myers.

Oh yeah, we have the RS1 ordered and can't wait. Already have mats with orange trim ordered, and 18" wheels and tires on the way.

Call Ft. Myers Toyota and ask for Jazmine Burhans.. shes super cool and hooked me up with My xB on the 28th of Jan... yea before actual release.. Shes %100 and trying to work a local Scion club... anyone interested?.. Anyhow Call Jazmine and tlel her Jonah sent you and shell take extra good care of you.. Ft. Myers Toyota will do you rite.. trust me..

Oh and I forgot to mention when you are ready to drop your xBs bring em on.. did mine in under a hour.. Used 2" Goldlines from ScionSpecialties in Vegas..Hes the man and the ride is Sooo much better..

That's funny... I used ot work at Southern Custom on 441 in Alachua... until I got tired of selling mud tires and whip antennas to rednecks. Drive to work sucked to having to go all the way from SW20th.

also i got an up date from the local dealer saing that they already have an rs 1.0 allocated but its gonna be some type of lotto system to get it !!!! bummer but if all the other post about the rs 1.0 then they might get another

Ok I'm thinking we start the Scion club here in miami and get one of the dealerships to sponcer us (I know expressway was interested, thinking about asking the best cars to show up at shows and the like)

Or we can not link with a specific dealer and get all of them to carry club style flyers pointing them to a club website (humm charge for banner space???)

Ya lets get the ball rolling on this.. I had a cool name for the club but all the domain possabilities for it have been taken up (Sciontology) maybe we can do Sciontology-Miami.org or the like..

Hrmm... I'm near Jacksonville too (Green Cove Springs to be exact), but I work in Jacksonville. My boyfriend said the guy a few houses down from us has a white xB, but I've yet to see it. I guess it's kept in the garage. Anyway... any of you in the GCS area have a white xB? :)

Hey NUNSPA I was at expressway toyota yesterday getting my oil changed and I suggested to the Scion manager to set up like a bar-b-que at a park or something so that everyone could meet. He thought it was a great idea so lets see if he goes through with it.

As far as a club I'm down to join and help in any way so keep me posted on any developments.

I'll be getting mine within a month...

I'm also in the Miami (technically Homestead) area and willing to meet up for a get together or a club or whatever.....
