i just got my bbist cf hood and i love it, except for one thing. on the driver side where the hood goes down to merge with the fender there is a crack of sorts that spider webs for about 2 inches. im not sure if i should send it back or not but that is the only flaw on it. what do you guys think. btw i got it from robear racing if that matters

 

I would call them back up and let them know wassup...You should get a quality product for what you paid

I had the same problem happen to me too. Now I know its the shipping company.

Did Old Dominion deliver your hood to you? I was going to call it in...but it not worth the hassle. I work in this aftermarket industry, and let me tell you...you'll be waiting for a rep. to come out and take a look at your hood. They are not in a hurry to help the consumer???

Anyway...I've learn to live with a problem...but now I have a fittment issue with the sitting to high on the the driver side.

I may be taking it off all together...not really digg'n the look like I though I would. I'm think about going another direction with the overall look of my tC.

...anyway definitely let us know how this pans out.

btw: who did you buy the hood from?

 

yea old dominion did ship it to me and so far there customer sevice has been pretty speedy. i got it from robearracing. i thought about just putting it on but the crack is so bad that water might get it in and freeze and then my whole hood is ruined. either way im getting a new hood
